Geekin' Out

Late Monday evening as I arrived at my gate at LAX to catch my red eye flight back home to Florida my friend Jaclyn picked up a magazine while we waited.  I love to travel but hate to fly so reading some fashion magazines usually helps with the stir craziness that goes on in my mind.  But who would have thunk it was about to get turnt up crazy up in there!  My friend opened up her November issue of Redbook Magazine to see me featured in it!  How crazy right!  We were both geekin' out and I'm sorry but I'm not sorry for the spectacle that soon incurred in the gate area.

Check out the feature below or pick up a copy of Redbook (available now) and see how women across the country work bright colored coats to lighten up winter blues.

Boyfriend Dilemma

So it’s obvious that Anh and I have different bodies but we decided to take a fashion essential and make it our own.  Amongst the different options out there for your denim styles the boyfriend jean has to be one of my favorites because of the relaxed fit.  It can easily be dressed up or down with very little required.  But not all boyfriend (jeans) are up to par when it comes to your body.  If you are petite you want to make sure you chose a cut that doesn’t’ cut you off even more.  Anh has done a great job with hers.  It’s not cuffed so you see the length of her legs.  I opted for a more distressed boyfriend and paired it with bright colored sandals and jacket.  This pair of jeans can be easily worn with a t shirt and ballet flats and be just as stylish.  Are you a boyfriend jean kind of girl?  What’s your favorite way to style your bf jeans?

Gimmie Florals

Gimmie florals, florals and more florals!  There’s nothing like a beautiful floral print that says “I’m a lady and let’s have some tea!” We love floral prints because of the instant girlie effect it has on your outfit.  Whether you opt for island florals or a sweet garden floral the impact will sure to be a fashion hit if you wear it with confidence.  Some may say that only certain bodies can pull off wearing floral print without looking heinous but in reality it takes a certain confidence to wear what you like the way you want it.  Here are two very different looks that incorporate the floral trend.  Florals prints are great transitional pieces and both these looks can be easily worn and remixed into a summer and fall wardrobe.

All White Errythang after Labor Day

Need an instant outfit in a hurry?  Wearing all white can easily remedy your fashion fall out.  Monochromatic ensembles are usual head turners because it draws the eye to look at the whole person from head to toe.  We love to wear all white especially in the summer and on vacations but don’t let that folly fashion rule that says not to wear white after Labor Day keep you from rocking your iridescent pearly hues well into fall and winter.
